Go Tyler Go!

This was the first of the grandkid's quilts that I completed (November 2010). 

The name of this quilt is Go Tyler Go! 

Tyler loves cars, trucks and things that go!  His favorite color is green and Tyler is always on the go!  So, this quilt I designed myself based on those things. 

There is a green square in each corner to represent the green go light!  You see the cars keep going and never stop - that is kind of Tyler's personality.  The cars just keep going around and around the outer border.

Look into the middle of the quilt, I designed it as two stop lights.  Red, Yellow and Green with a vechile in the center of the same color.  The back fabric is a Debbie Mumm design with all the traffic signs.  I machine appliqued Tyler's name on the front and machine quilted the rest of the quilt. 

This was a very fun quilt to put together and I loved being creative.  Tyler received his quilt for Christmas and I have been told he is enjoying it very much.

Tyler is adorable!  Don't you just love that red hair? 

 He is full of energy and life and smart too! 

All my grandchildren are exceptional smart.

(I know, I know, all grandparents say that but it's really true!)
